Final Declaration: We recognise that evil elements will always be present in our midst to continously test us. Hence, it is critical that we need to promulgate this Charter for Compassion to serve as a guiding light to inspire and motivate us to conduct our relationship with our neighbours in a far more compassionate manner irregardless of their race, colour or creed. Hopefully, this will then enable us to leave behind a more harmonious, peaceful and just global society where everyone has the opportunity and freedom to live up to their full potentials. Let us all have faith in the ability of human race to do so.

We are all mere stewards or trustees of everything that God bestowed on us. Thus, it is incumbent upon each one of us that we leave behind this world in a better shape than when it was entrusted to us. Hence, the youth who will be our inheritors must be vigilant at all times to ensure that their elders do not breach this trust. The youth must be bold and quick to check that their elders do not go astray in staying faithful to the path of compassion.

Because it is natural for them to go beyond their parents, young people can become leaders of compassion. They can refuse the fears and factionalism they're exposed to, and instead use their courage, energy, empathy, and imagination to forge a more open and peaceful world.

Preamble Compassion is the root of all religions. It is a divine commandment to humankind to do what is right and just to our fellow inhabitants on this earth. It is one actionable word that serves as an ethical principle of conduct of life to ensure the sustainability of our global community that we can pass on to future generations.

The youth are our blessed hope. We must engage them at their level, whether technology, gaming, etc. Ethical artificial intelligence could be a great such avenue. Please see www.emotionchip.net for suggestions.

We call up for action the "Young at Heart", our Youth who have such strength, hope and faith in all that is loving and good...The PURE. YOUTHFUL ONES so BRAVE and TRUE, these are your days, months and years to penetrate forces of evil with your righteous knowledge, brought with you and retained amongst cruelty...BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR CALLING. Save us not, but inseminate your light into the Hearts of your Egotistical Elders who are unwilling to rise to such a task for ages past. Their time is over and their chances were had; for those whose wisdom sheds "old" Light will only repeat an "insane" cycle. CHILDREN of NOW, we humbly ask that You forgo your patience with us and move Yourselves to the head of the class to BECOME OUR TEACHERS. Teach us so that we too may enter these higher planes of consciousness and frequency from which You came, and thus we have forgotten to exist. These Paths of Light are predicated upon Love and Compassion, which only You, the Young at Heart can inseminate into our Being. So we ask...Innocent Angels of Love, show us the pathway to our New Beginning, that we may travel together in Harmony to a New Age, less the "insanity" that You so Wisely avoided during your formative years upon this earth.

The youth of the present generation must be alerted to their responsibility of reclaiming freedoms won at great sacrifice by previous generations. Youth should be mobilised to take the lead, after their elders are unable to continue doing so. We have all seen what happens when economic disparity becomes rife in a society that values self-indulgence over sustainability, at the expense of accountability and compassion.

Compassion is love in action, and as songs and stories throughout the ages affirm, youth remembers better and more easily the existence of love in all its forms than does its community of elders. Therefore the youth in our care should be encouraged to push the envelope of our social realities in the directions of love and compassion: if it can be found by a genuine and good-faith inquiry that these were the motivating force behind any action reflexively assumed to be impure or unacceptable, a real effort must be made by their guiding elders, far from punishing that action, to incorporate incorporate into the range of social acceptability instead. Make love rather than historical precedent or reflexive social assumption the rule of law. Reward compassionate action unquestioningly in the young, and a compassionate society will result.

Young people embody the future of our world. Their ideas, values, and actions will become the basis for the next phase of the human journey on planet earth. This being the case, it is the responsibility of today's youth to * Actively support existing movements and organizations that are promoting peace, love, respect, and compassion for all human beings, including religious congregations, interfaith charities and non-profit groups; * Create and lead new movements, organizations, and projects to promote these values in ways that will strongly resonate with the younger generation and utilize the unique tools of 21st century information technology; * Help to educate their elders about the importance of moving beyond old attitudes that have needlessly divided people and alienated people from one another because of religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, and other distinguishing features.

The most critical role of Youth in society is to question absolutely everything. The tendency of most older folk is to accept that change is impossible, and to resign themselves to the wrongs in this world. It is in the nature of Youth to ask questions, unhindered by the pride commonly found in adults. This entirely natural and positive humility, if recognised and implemented by the leaders of the world, gives Youth massive potential to approach problems with integrity and enthusiasm; traits that come with the belief that everything is possible. If the Youth of the world is organised and directed towards a goal, that essential belief will be affirmed.

i´d like to see this statement focus more on the positive... so from what you have written... youth should be mobilised to take the lead, WITH THEIR elders, as both have special and different type of wisdom... Both are valuable and both must be integrated, in order to bring about fully aware and action-oriented compassion. They have seen how the wisdom of our elders can help make tremendous improvements in life. They should also be inspired by their unique, pure vision of 'why can't we have a world filled with good, vision and dreams?' Together, youth works with wisdom to create the Life we know as possible-- good, compassionate and truthfilled to and for all.

Focused this submission on 1) rallying youth to use their unique position to further compassion and 2) reminding them to recognize the wisdom of and work with their elders__________Though youth may have less experience than their elders, they have also had less time for bias and negativity to become ingrained. In addition, they have the energy, fresh minds, and up-to-date knowledge and skills to pioneer effective new solutions. Thus, youth have the powerful opportunity to use their unique position to cultivate, exercise, and spread compassion for the benefit of themselves, those around them, and the future of all. While doing so, they should also take the time and effort to recognize and learn from the wisdom of those who have come before them.

Youth are our future and our hope; they should be honored, respected, and giving the chance to express their ideas, emotions, outlooks, perspectives. As parents, educators, elders, we should be compassionate; open our heart to embrace them, our ears to listen to them, and our mind to digest their new ideas. Let us trust them, and share with them our- their hopes of bringing up a better future for all. This approach will bring us together (youth and elders) to think creatively of how to turn compassion from emotion to actions here and there, and everywhere.

Youth are the leaders of TODAY. They have the capacity to inspire all ages. Given understanding and opportunity, the youth of the world make a greater difference than any other age group. They have vision, they are waiting to be empowered.

Sometimes youth are more impressionable and prone to take action than their elders; also, they, on the average, have longer to live with the results of the actions being taken today. By clearly making a rational and widespread appeal to youth to commit to the principles set forth in the Charter will bring creative methods and positive results we cannot even imagine. We can be especially effective in enrolling youth if we begin by going to the groups already engaged in various activities designed to heal the planet of its ills.

Good women are the resource of good generation. Although it is a responsibility of youth as well to strive for the truth, for the cause of justice and for sustainability in society. First Strive, then knowledge and putting knowledge in your attitudes and character would and could change this world in to a place which is called heaven. Don't wait for your heaven, create one right here.

Youth are also the most vunerable minds. Their minds should be fine tuned by providing them compassionate educators and institutions. Youth are the future generations so they should be well informed on how to take this world ahead.

The youth of the planet should be encouraged to become curious, to see that learning is not "so that" anything, it is its own goal and joy. Until this happens, ignorance will be endemic.

Life is a playground of possibility. Cultivate your imagination, it is what defines your future. Be bold not foolish. Listen to your soul, let it spark your passion and empower your heart to follow through, let it be your best friend when times are tough. Speak your truth, then listen. If there's good advice, take it gratefully, use it creatively. Don't buy packaged beliefs and never sell yourself short, there is a way and there is a place for you. Challenges are part of life, friends come and go but you will be there always. And, there's a poweful reason why!

Global Network of Compassionate People – Favors.org Many young people are confronted with a chaotic picture. The first step to organize it is for them to help take inventory of their local human resources. They can do so by interviewing their neighbors and uploading detailed profiles on every person of good will they encounter, recording their experiences, interests and skills. This information is available to them and others interviewers. The persons interviewed can also choose to make their profile available to others like their family, friends or others in the network with a positive referral. This action will produce a growing network of good people that will be empowered with plentiful resources, information and access to people’s attention. At the State of the World Forum – www.WorldForum.org – we started in 1995 -www.Favors.org - a global web of trust that involves now over 50,000 individuals around the world. It is free and by invitation, it has no ads and no spam. Favors.org also keeps optional Thankyous accounts for people to acknowledge the generosity of other participants. A Thankyou is equivalent to one US Dollar saved because of a discount or favor received from someone in the network. You may learn more at Favors.org FAQs where you may Register. Your account will become active after you are recognized by a sponsor. You may choose also to attend an Event (mostly held in Northern California), where you may meet fellow participants and a sponsor. Expanding the example working example of Favors.org will allow for caring communities to emerge and people’s vocations to be weaved wisely into society. It will also provide a social reputation system as reliable or more than present credit reports in order to trust a renter with your property, a lender with your capital, or a job applicant with your business. The network will also provide a powerful incentive for those not yet included to mend their ways in order to earn and keep positive referrals from those who know them and are already in the network. This attractor could become the network’s most valuable contribution by providing present youths at risk with a real way out of their predicament once they realize that it is a better option to become a caring and compassionate member of society.

Understanding the holographic interconnectedness and interdependence of all creation, all of us can begin the journey to compassion within ourselves. As we honor ourselves, express gratitude for our lives, and model compassion, the high frequency energy fields spread to the whole world and beyond, as exhibited in the Hundredth Monkey effect. When we teach this to our youth, they in turn become models for each other and for our remembering.

Young people have developed greater maturity in an increasingly cruel world. That is most clearly seen in their determination to broaden the scope of their personal friendships, sharing their systems of belief and strong participation in modifying government through more compassionate leadership. Youth worldwide are increasingly a network of like-mindedness through activity on the internet that reaches everywhere with shared desires and dreams. Compassion rests easily in this generous nest of care.

Empower young girls to stand tall and strong! Strong, intelligent, gentle women should embrace and support young girls and women of all types so we can change the world to better reflect our womenhood. War, genocide and terror are not possible in a world full of strong, peace-filled women. It starts with our daughters, our nieces, our neighbors! Open, frank discussion about "relational aggression" and its affects on young girls is necessary.

Each generation make their own mistakes. The youth of today must realize that through upheaval comes change, presenting unique opportunities for their own generation to correct the unintentional/intentional blunders of their fathers. Life is a learning journey, and the architectural design is built and rebuilt by those with the energy to complete the task. Time is often lost on looking backwards at what should have been, instead of taking the lead to change it.
